Kathu Waterfall is maybe a misdemeanor, from the word go; it’s not impressive in size but it does gives you the chance to experience a mini-rainforest. Kathu Waterfall’s a little microcosm of southern Thailand’s rainforests.
Heat, humidity, deafening cicadas, pungent soil and a wonderful repertoire of green, provided by the atmospheric surroundings and all these factors combine to make this place magical – that is if you go and explore the upper regions. For those that aren’t that energetic, there are food outlets galore. Plus you can say that you’ve been there and done it… with a cold beer in hand, mind you.
