 The ministry of Education declared the
establishment of Phuket Special School on November 29th, 1993,
in responding to the government policy on expanding educational
opportunity to pupils with deficient intelligence. The Division
for Disables Education is in charge to provide teachers to
conduct co-education teaching and accept pupils in kindergarten,
primary and secondary levels with no charge, free meals, educational
materials and dressing items.
The policy of the Phuket Special School
is to develop pupils potential to give them a happy life in
a social environment. The school provides learning and teaching
in the way to make the children as self dependent as possible.
Graphic arts are a part of the education: batik creation and
painting, design and handicraft helps the children to develop
their artistic potential.
The artworks presented on this page are
postcards printed by generous donor, and sold to help the
school.
Harmony orderliness and diligence is the school's motto.
